Instead of a formal meeting & speaker this month, we are inviting you to attend the Geosymposium at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas on Friday, May 2nd between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm followed by a GSN/UNLV mixer event at The Front Yard, inside the Ellis Island Hotel, 4250 Koval Lane, Las Vegas 89109.

“Come celebrate the next generation of Geoscientists at UNLV. The Department of Geoscience at UNLV is excited to share our 20th Geosymposium meeting, Friday May 2nd, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM. The student organized event is a day full of poster and oral presentations on a wide range of Earth science topics (from Mars to mining) with a keynote talk from Kinross Gold. Lunch and goodies will be provided throughout the day. Feel free to stay for the duration of the event or attend only a portion – come support the future of our industry!
