Title: “Drone-supported UAS magnetometry in early-stage geological exploration”

Abstract: Drone-based magnetic surveys are emerging as a powerful tool for both mineral exploration and oil and gas asset management, providing high-resolution subsurface insight with improved safety and efficiency. This presentation focuses on the use of UAS magnetometry to support early-stage geological exploration and the detection of abandoned or undocumented gas well heads and associated infrastructure. Practical examples will illustrate how these surveys aid in structural interpretation, target generation, and risk reduction for drilling, reclamation, and land development activities.
Please contact Elko Chapter President, Sergey Konyshev if you have any questions. Sergey606@gmail.com
